privacy policy
Effective June 11, 2026
This policy explains how Charli collects and uses information when you use the Discord bot, website, dashboard, and related services.
Information we collect
Charli may store Discord user IDs, server IDs, channel and role IDs, server settings, command aliases, moderation cases, warnings, ticket records, transcripts when enabled, command usage, reminders, temporary voice channel ownership, and other configuration needed for features you choose to use.
When you sign in to the dashboard, Discord provides your account identity and the servers you can manage. Charli requests only the identify and guilds OAuth scopes. Your Discord password is never provided to Charli.
How information is used
Information is used to operate commands, apply server configuration, secure the dashboard, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability. Charli does not sell personal information.
Service providers
Data may be processed by Discord, the website and database host, and optional providers such as DeepL, OpenAI, Last.fm, remove.bg, or media services only when their related feature is used. Those providers have their own privacy terms.
Retention and deletion
Configuration remains until it is removed by a server manager or the bot owner. Temporary dashboard sessions expire automatically. Some moderation and ticket data may remain until an authorized server manager deletes it. You may request deletion by contacting the bot owner through Discord.
Security and changes
Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online service can promise absolute security. This policy may be updated as Charli changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
